ONE OF THE DATES WE VISITED THE RESTAURANT: 8-18-09
PRICE RANGE: Low to moderate
FAVORITE FOOD: Large BBQ sandwiches--they smoke their own barbecue on-site -- beef brisket, pork, ribs, sausage -- in their full-service smoker.

Natchitoches Meat Pies -- the best we've tasted anywhere -- even in Natchitoches!
OTHER GREAT FOODS: Boudin, deli items
FOOD WE LIKED LEAST: N/A
MOST OUTSTANDING FEATURE: Their own on-site smoked barbecue. And they have nearly everything you can think of for the traveler, hunter, fisherman, trucker, and RV traveler.
SPECIALS: Vary—call for current ones
APPEARANCE: Very clean
SERVER: N/A
SERVICE: Very good
UNIQUE FEATURES: N/A
COMMENTS: They have off-road diesel for farmers and 4-wheelers, deer stands, deer corn, other hunting and fishing supplies, GPS units, CB radios, and radar detectors.

They have 70 full-service pull-through 50 & 60 amp. parking sites. Their restrooms are the cleanest in Louisiana, and all the automatic features--soap, water, towels, etc.--work!

The Deli counter is open 24 hours a day. The Burger King is closed from midnight to 6 a.m.

Very good food. We'll be back!
